Other Works             : This is my first finished Quake map. It doesn't suck though!!! :-)


Description             : This map is based on the House of Chthon. But it's got the base theme
			  (like Slipgate Complex) instead of a medievil theme. I needed to make
			  a small map where I didn't have to think too much about design
			  considerations so that I could focus on learning how to make a map -
			  and how to use WorldCraft. And I focused a lot on the details like
			  lighting. Oh yeah, and this is a deathmatch map. I learned a lot, so
			  my next level (for Quake 2) will take a lot less time!

Single Player           : NO!, But if you add some bots, sure :-)
Cooperative             : Nope
Deathmatch              : YES! That's the point.
Difficulty Settings     : No
New Sounds              : No

System Requirements     : If you can run Quake, you should be able to run this.

* Construction *

Base                    : New level from scratch (with obvious influences from e1m7)
Editor(s) used          : Worldcraft
Known Bugs              : Sometimes when you die in the lava, especially with the lightning gun,
			  you can't respawn. Some spots on the first floor next to the archways
			  are all black (I'm talking like a couple small squares) this is because
			  of the way I started making the map - can't fix it without throwing out
			  the map and starting again. When someone is in the lava and shoots the
			  Lightning gun, people on the edge of the first, or even second floor
			  by the lava will die. This is a bug with Quake though. (It's in 'Spill
			  the Blood' for example.) ***Also, this map is not water-vis'ed so use
			  r_wateralpha 1 in GL. (And the lava's only 1 foot deep anyways!)

Build Time              : Too long. No less than 50 hours, maybe no less than 100. I started it
			  8 months ago and I just never worked on it :-) I worked on it in bursts
			  of like 10 hours over 2 days about once a month.

Texture Wad used        : texture.wad, umm, it's got most of the regular quake textures in it.

Compile machine         : P166 MMX, 64 megs of RAM
QBSP Time           	: WorldCraft didn't report it.
Light -extra Time       : 161.0 seconds
VIS -full Time       	: 59.0 seconds

Brushes                 : 168
Faces			: 970
Entities                : 208 (too many lights cause I didn't know what I was doing at first :-)
