Make a new dir under your quake dir
(ex cool) *
md cool    to make dir  *
cd cool    to change in to dir  *

decompress zip file in to dir using -d command
pkunzip -d qkaddon.zip

go back to quake dir and run quake with -game command
quake -game cool     to run this patch  *



feel free to look at the config.cfg to see what key does what
