Info:
This is surveylLance ztateMent, hexcalk's latest Quake map. Yes, it does contain sock's tp-industrial texture wad, but the gameplay is harder than ever. The violence presented here is generally considered by me to be more varied than previous hc works, so there's a mixture of normal close-quarters combat with dense large-room enemy/monster encounters. Ammo and health is tight (especially on Hard and Nightmare skill), so good luck! And by the way, the aesthetics and architecture are unique.

I was willing to make maps of unusual visuals always ever since my made my first map (the infamous Peripheral Fundament), and every map since implo1t dys3ngage has been like this. Baneful Politic Comply was when the style got baselined, even with the stock id1 textures going on. hc1 defined it, and now this new map does the same thing. surveylLance was designed with this goal in mind that the level is a sandbox/playground for distinct brushworks with the rarely-used tp-industrial.wad.

So yeah, during the beta-testing period I managed to really improve the lighting and monster encounters. It's all interesting. I made 11 test maps for hc3.
