Wow, that's some pretty intense gameplay.
Up until the final boss battle I wan't convinced that the player could actually die or even take damage, since I didnt' see it happening. I could tell he was making a concentrated effort to avoid shots and take safe routes, but... half the time I couldn't tell what was a hit and what was a miss.
And I know I couldn't play that fast with that much precision... man he/she's good!
However, this type of game isn't quite what I'd want Galactix uh... 2 to be (if there ever is a Galactix 2 done by my hand). The bullets are way too concentrated, and I just can't see a normal human being ever loving me again if I made it that hard.
There is one interesting thing I noticed, however -- a slow-mo function. When the player was in a tight spot, he/she must have held a button that slowed down time. That would be a cool function in Galactix, and it's very do-able.
When my computer inevitably explodes and kills me, my cat inherits everything I own. He may be the only one capable of continuing my work.
