1. Map the bridge of the ncc-1701d, viewscreen as a clip brush, no vis, all void out there

3. in 3d. entity grid outside the viewer represents the sector, but computers bring up the sector map in text, or switching a viewpoint from the player to a empty box room with a spiffy 3d grid also showing the stuff in the viewscreen but in a ui like fashion. this all could be done in stock engines
4. implement cooperative multiplayer, to go through the game together with a human bridge crew
5. add invasion where it turns into a fps in the same bsp, you fight off intruders of beaming aliens aboard ship, or you board their ship and capture, or do mission etc (same bsp still, but 'teleports' you to diff section)
