I guess qcc has the ability to write pakfiles.

main() is never executed.
vanilla qcc generates pak files from the precache_file etc calls. precache_file goes into pak0, precache_file2 goes into pak1. same for models/sounds, hence why the precache_model2 function even exists.

same with hexen2, though hexen2 goes up to precache_model5. for some reason.

when every file is self-contained getting the qcc to do it all makes a certain sense, though it sucks for mods where the files are not all yours to package.
