 Post subject: Grapple Damage

I was noticing this and I'd like to see the grapple act a little differently in this aspect. Let's take the map... 'end' for example. You grapple above the rocket launcher, un-grapple and hit the floor you inflict some damage.

Now why if you are grappled above, and grapple to the floor you get no damage at all, personally I would think you move faster when you grapple so grappling down should cause more damage then just letting go and hitting the floor.

I always held backpedal/move back when grappling the floor to prevent fall damage. My reason is due to the way the hook forces a player's speed. That is, this causes you to be pulled sideways more, and down less. As you know, that reduces acceleration from gravity (especially when you come close to the floor).

It sounds like the hook is more effectives now, and does not even require this!
