On Jan 3 around 6:30 EST, a user named "lala" (151.203.225.XXX) was on quake.shmack.net botting, I believe it's that same player that goes by the name "mute" who supposedly got in trouble for botting before (same colors and message binds). And around 7:00 EST the server became unplayably lagged, and then as soon as he left it went back to normal.

Shortly after your post, "lala" returned to the server. I played and obsereved for a little while but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

In the event something like this happens again, please provide a demo. You can e-mail it to [email protected]. If it's a large demo, please compress it before mailing. All demos submitted eventually wind up on the FTP site at ftp://ftp.runequake.com/quake/demos/
