I'm going to draw the only logical conclusion and assume Diazoild has decided to hang up the Quake hat.

He will be missed and I am sorry to see him go. I wish him well.

Although that very well maybe what has happened, it's not the only logical conclusion. If it was foreseen, I find it odd that DZ didn't announce it for one thing. Hopefully it's a trivial issue that will soon be corrected.

all thats really left for runequake now is fear and shmack...and its not long until something "happens" to fear or shmack...hey wait a sec...I have an idea. slot, why dont you make another singed server? it could be exactly like the old singed. and it could be in memory of diazoild. what do you think?

If you are going to leave the game, that's the way to do it.

I hope he left on a good note and not because of any hurt feelings (which I doubt) or because of personal problems.

DZ is a good example that to have friends, you have to be a friend. He has many.

Well said Lefty. There is also GCHQ, Blackhat and Topsid netquake servers. Not RQ I know but better than nothing.

Good luck to DZ, and hopefully his leaving was his choice and not because of outside circumstances (i.e. - like something bad happening in the real world).

He, his site, and his server will be missed.
