Why does every thread have to turn into some kind of dumb argument...
Come on people, grow up.

Yah, couldn't it at least be a smart, witty, entertaining argument.

It's always been about the people in the server more than the game. Although once I got a decent computer and broadband I've only played the mod a few times.
BTW, here is a plug for my site:
http://www.beggers.orgIt's on my home pc so I don't know how long I'll keep it going. Depends on the interest.

I came back because I was thinking about FVF the other day when arguing with someone over Halo 3...
I said, Halo 3 is a totally boring game. Its weapons are like shit versions of vanilla Quake 3, the pace is really slow, and the insta-heal is really annoying. The guy then wondered what I thought was a better FPS, and I immediately thought of this game, and told him all about it. He kinda just heckled and ignored it. Then I decided I'd look up about the history of FVF, only to find out there were servers being run.
This is actually my first time ever playing FVF online, though. Before, I'd head to Armaphage's place and play him (and some of our other friends) on his LAN. Glad to be playing against him again...
