AWOL

Postby Insanity » Wed Jul 12, 2006 1:02 pm

Sorry, I've been AWOL for like the last month. I sold my laptop and don't have anything powerful enough to run quake now. Sad, but hey, I needed the money! I'll be back soon enough! 8)

Oh, later versions of GPQuake do have full sound support (that article was outdated). The framerate is like 10-12 FPS though....

Are you trying to run GL? Hell, I just switched from a Tower that couldnt run GL. Win is just as good in my experience. GL is an added bonus.

It's a sad sad story. I can probably run it on my company laptop, but if they find out it's on there, i'm screwed. I'll think of something cause I don't want to run winquake!

Trust me, there's little difference between win and GL when you're in a tight spot. I sure as hell didnt want to use winquake, but it did fine for me until I could run GL.
