I haven't read this whole tread yet, so let me jump in all ignorant-like...

I liked it when Gunter would randomly teleport me. I got so bored of FvF that it made it interesting. In fact I begged him to do it.

Any change makes it interesting. I like variety. I don't know how The Turk or Blacksmith could play the same damn thing (single player) over & over (by themselves, no less).

I liked that the server was living, changing, not stagnating.

No sir I have not as I've moved back in with my parents all pathetic-like and I don't have quake installed here.

But I did read about it. Sounds fun. Maybe i'll just D/L quake for this machine...
