Paul
Taylor's A World of Quake features a very
comprehensive listing of available levels for the single Quake player,
great screen shot captures of reviewed levels as well as exciting action
packed written reviews. This site is fanatical in its up to the minute
reviews of just about every single player Quake level out there. Paul is
not only a web master but also a level play tester. His firsthand look
at some of the maps and his sometimes firsthand knowledge offer interesting
insights.
A World of Quake has music
available for your browsing pleasure and almost DAILY
updates! This is one site that usually will have something for you on a
daily basis. And if you have a hankering for reliving last month you can
always visit Update Hell where updates of
yesterday are stored for a short time. New levels are referred to here
as New Killer Maps. Older Killer Maps
are listed in the archives indexed by month and year. Paul also has his
pick of top maps in his Top Ten Killer Maps
listing. Not sure how to play those Killer Maps you just downloaded? Fret
no more. Paul has supplied detailed instructions in his Help
page as well as Quake cheats (shame on you Paul) and instructions on how
to upload that level you just created to cdrom.com (if your good you may
just merit Paul's Killer Map Award).
Quake related buttons galore are to be found on the links
page
And when you are ready for some new Quake 2 maps, so is A World of Quake,
just look for the AWOQ2
link in the menu section.
