"Lotus
Look" while relatively new to the Quake 2 review scene, demonstrates a
sophistication and professional look not found in many of the long established
sites.
Similar in appearance to "Matt Sefton's SPQ2 Level Heaven", "Lotus Look" is a joy to navigate. Layout is attractive and intuitive. Everything you need is laid out before you. Upon loading, the first page encountered is the traditional "news" page. This page is updated frequently and is usually broken down into topics including "new stuff", "movement", and "level news". Also included here are screenshots of levels in the works. From here you can go directly to the "levels" page and and read reviews of the latest maps and if you like what you see, download them. Reviews are well written and include clear representative screen shots of the reviewed levels. You will also want to check out the "archives" which house older maps, as well as the Lotus Look "Top 5" Levels, which receive the house stimpack award. Lotus Look also recently announced that they had worked out a deal with PC GAMER magazine in the UK to pick Quake 2 levels for inclusion with that magazines CD. BOTTOMLINE:
