Configuration & Binds:
1. Control method
You should ALWAYS play with the mouse. If you are a
keyboarder, get used to the mouse. It will benefit you a lot. I recommend a 3
button mouse.
Why? Simply because I find mouse buttons easier and more accessible. And I am
sure most people would also prefer a 3 button mouse.
2. Binds
Binds are important. If you do not how to bind a key, the
command in the console is ( bind "KEY" "COMMAND" )
Some of these binds are very useful: (note: these are all demo specific binds,
for other binds check on other TF Pages)
DETPIPE BIND
Command: ( detpipe )
Description: This bind will detonate your pipebombs. Required.
FIRE PIPEBOMB BIND
Command: ( impulse 7;+attack;wait;-attack )
Description: This bind will fire a pipebomb without having to switch weapon.
FIRE GRENADE BIND
Command: ( impulse 6;+attack;wait;-attack )
Description: This bind will fire a grenade without having to switch weapon.
FIRE SHOTGUN BIND
Command: ( impulse 2;+attack;wait;-attack )
Description: This bind will fire the shotgun without having to switch weapon.
FIRE PIPEBOMB AND AUTODET BIND
Command: ( impulse 7;+attack;wait;-attack;wait;detpipe
)
Description: This bind will fire a pipebomb without having to switch weapon. It
will also automatically detonate it after launched.
SET 5 SECOND DETPAK
Command: ( +det5 )
Description: This will set a 5 second detpak.
SET 20 SECOND DETPAK
Command: ( +det20 )
Description: This will set a 20 second detpak.
SET 50 SECOND DETPAK
Command: ( +det50 )
Description: This will set a 50 second detpak.
CUSTOM LENGHT DETPAK
Command: ( impulse 168;wait;impulse SECONDS )
Description: Replace the SECONDS with the amount of time you want detpak to
last before blowing up. The highest possible is 255 seconds. The minimum is 5
seconds.
PIPE JUMP BIND
Command: ( +jump;wait;detpipe )
Description: Instead of hitting jump and detpipe, one key does it. Very
useful.
