Yes, there is a difference in playing an offensive demo in a clan match versus playing on a pub. Here are some guidelines you should follow when playing offensive clan demo:

1) Spare the pipes
Unless your clan is different, odds are you have a defensive demoman. Don't steal his pipes. Either be strict not to use too many, or use a the autodet bind. (keep in mind that only pipes that hit the ground take away from pipe traps)

2) Be aware of Teamkill
A lot of games will be with teamkills. To prevent pissing off teammates be sure to warn about heavily spammed areas and detpaks. Also watch it when a teammate is around (obviously).
