Here are some things to watch out for in the new qw's that are running "speed cheats".

Demos of the speed cheat and others are available in the Cheat/Demos section.

• One of the cheat sites talks about making a quakeworld with "Impulse 9, Godmode, speed, and autoaim built in". Will fill you in more if it happens.
  
• Another has put out a hackedqw that works with the 'fixed qw beta' of Quakelives! with speed, aa, and fullbright and the ability to use hacked maps.
  
• There are stacks of hacked quakeworlds made with the new q1source, but most only have the ability to speed cheat.. I say "only" because it could be a lot worse, and that's the sad part. You can view demos of this cheat in the cheat/demos section. And screenshots below. 
  
• Thankfully, not all coders who downloaded the source are "evil" :). There are some that are working on fixes for any cheats that may come up with this source being released.
