Hey everybody - I'm Back! I flew back into the UK on Wednesday and am taking back control of Guild Central. I would like to thank everyone who laboured hard in my absence and especially KingMatt for doing a great leadership job, Ogrebiter his deputy for his tireless devotion, and especially Guild Leaders Deathwind, The Beast and Ringo for the large amount of work and progress in their Guilds.
Life will continue as normal with Kingmatt becoming my Deputy and Ogrebiter being given the post of Leader of the HWGuy Guild which until now was also led by Kingmatt. Most of the Guilds seem to be functioning fine, though we are looking for staff for the Scout Guild, Demoman Guild, Engineer Guild, Spy Guild and MegaTF Guild and Leaders for the Pyro Guild and MegaTF Guild. All applying for positions write to me and Matt at [email protected]

....Guildmaster Nods....

Well theres not really been much going on this week. Rasputin of the hwguy guild has been having difficulty finding enough members that are interested in the forthcoming HWGUY Vs PYRO extravaganza. He really needs more people to sign up so please do soon. If you are not a member but would like to take part then please join ASAP if you wish to take part.

One thing i noticed - Silly me having so much other business to attend in the other guilds forgot to give a welcome mention to Cpt. OgreBiter as my deputy here at GuildCentral. OgreBiter has done much good work for the hwguy guild, taking on several jobs and filling in where necessary. He has also agreed to take on the jobs as news editor at the engineer guild and soldier guild until I can find a permanent staff member for the jobs. Many thanks to OgreBiter for all the work he has done for both GC and the HWGUY guild. I know he has spent a great deal of time for the guilds and has done a super job, most noticably on the HWGUY news page.

A superb piece of news here. We have a confirmed event arranged between the HWGUY guild and PYRO guild. It will be a team event involving 9 players on each team on Sunday February 7th at 5:00pm PST (possibly subject to change). If you wish to take part you will have to be a member of the relevant guild. Contact the relevant guild leader or fill in the entry form on the site to apply to take part.

Also I am pleased to announce that I have chosen a suitable replacement for TiePilot as leader of the Medic guild. V_HELL[RAGE]MD the previosu Medic Events Organiser has been promoted to Medic guild Leader. I am sure he will do an excellent job and is already looking for staff to fill the vacant positions at the Medic guild. If anyone is interested in taking on a job with the medics please contact him and he will be happy to arrange a job for you.

It appears that neither the engineer guild or the soldier guild have not been functioning for some time. I have come across some un-answered membership applications dating back to even October! The current engineer guild and soldier guild leaders have now departed as leaders as they sadly have too many other commitments and not enough time to maintain the guilds. Therefore I am looking for new leaders for the engineer and soldier guilds and several other staff to help out also. Please contact me if you are interested in a job at either the engineer guild or the soldier guild. I will be handling the leadership of the both the engineer and soldier guilds myself until I can find suitable replacements, I apologise for the problems that have been experienced there and will not let them happen again. Any engineers/soldiers or potential engineers/soldiers out there, please join the relevant guild today as they are now operational again.

The School of TF has re-opened. If any one is interested in becoming a teacher at SOTF then please contact me and I will pass you on to Vorro, the guy in charge. Several of our members from various classes have already signed up and hopefully their experiences as teachers will allow us to arrange some training for our less experiences players. We hope to get some mass training events going sometime soon also so if you haven't already joined please do as only members can participate in guild events. MEMBERSHIP IS FREE!

NEW LEADERS NEEDED

MrBuzzcut has sadly had to resign from his position as leader of the Sniper guild. Likewise Tiepilot has resigned as the leader of the Medic guild. Therefore we are looking for replacements for them.

I am currently taking applications for their jobs and am looking for someone with most importantly the time, commitment and some HTML ability to become a leader. The job involves organising staff, helping to arrange with events, communicating back to me as guildmaster and generally contributing where needed. Previous experience with the guilds is not necessary but preferable.

Also [CAO]SpOOkY-OSA is looking for more staff to help out at the Pyro guild.

If anyone is interesting in either of the leadership jobs (or any other guild jobs) please contact me and I will select the most suitable candidates from the applications I recieve.

Remember to apply for membership to the guilds if you haven't yet got around to it. Membership is FREE and only members can participate in events and services such as find-a-clan.

Well Nods has left for America for 3 months leaving me to take his place as Guildmaster. Thankyou to Nods for choosing me as his replacement - hope I won't let ya down Nods!

Well there's plenty going on in the guilds at the moment with several staff changes, I'm currently in the process of making sure all the leaders have the time and commitment to help us grow even more now that we have seen off the initial teething problems.

Most importantly [TF] Ringo has taken over as leader of the Scout guild. Ringo has done a lot of work previously for the scout guild as news editor and was practically running the joing anyway and seeing the leader quit - who better to take over?! Congratulations to Ringo and I'm sure the scouts will do well with him as leader. The hwguy guild which I am leader of myself is currently trying to arrange an event with the scout guild which as far as I know will actually be the first guild event. Hopefully there will be many to follow, I am stressing to all staff that we must get some events going soon.

Also Rasputin has taken over from EvilDave as Events organiser at the hwguy guild. Rasputin has already done a great job as recruitment officer and has been trying to arrange the event involving the scouts even before his appointment in his new job! Thanks to Rasputin, I'm sure he can cope with the extra workload and do a good job getting some events finally organised.

Anyway to stay informed on the latest happenings at all the guilds and GuildCentral keep an eye on this page. There should be a lot going on over the coming weeks.
