He wanted above all, like the old joke, to shove a marshmellow on a stick in the furnace while the flapping pigeon-winged books died on the porch and the lawn of the house. While the books went up in sparkling whirls and blew away on a wind that turned dark with burning.

l'Ordre de la Salamandre d'Argent has risen out of the ashes of the TF world, bringing together the best of the forgoten class in the TF world. The one class that was cleansed by fire at birth, and to whom fire and all that is associated with it, is his friend. One who knows how to use fire to his best advantage. To burn and to char with rockets of fire and clouds of flame and grenades of napalm. He, who like the Phoenix, will rise out of the ashes after death, and reap his vengance on his oppressors and foes. This class, the Pyro, is the driving force behind l'Ordre de la Salamandre d'Argent. And this force will bring together the black sheep of the TF world into one group of elite allies. Where we are all the same, and believe the same, that fire is the weapon of weapons. A weapon that is our friend, and an enemy and a danger to all who come against us.
