Well, as
the name above states, you have come to my Rants & stuff section. This place will be
used as a means and a local for me to bitch about stuff in general, wether it be TF
related or not. This is my little place to vent frustrations in a civilized and somewhat
coherent manner. Feel free to read if you want, for your opinions just I have mine, just
don't send me hate e-mails and ICQ messages because of what I poste here. I have my 1st
Ammendment rights and I am choosing to exercise em here. You can always click the back
button on your web browser if you don't like my opinions. Wel, enough of the intro...let's

Well....here's a letter I recieved in my e-mail box about a month and half ago ro so,
concerning a TF guild called Resistance (|R). They're an anti-Mega TF guild that has in
the past cuased some disturbances in the TF community. This letter was sent out by some of
the heads of www.planetfortress.com
concerning these distrubances. OSA has a few members of |R, and I have referred to this
letter in conversations with most of them regarding their mebership in |R, so I thought
I'd post it. Though I personally dislike Mega TF, and that I bleieve that it's a MOD for
newbies, we all have the right to personal choice and to enjoy what we like. People that
play Mega, as warped as they might be, enjoy playing it and are entitled to do so without
the hinderances caused by the behavior of some |R members as is listed in this e-mail. I
don't condone this behavior at all, and if another letter of this type is circulated or if
I recieve any complaints from Mega players about members of OSA taking part in immature
and unaccepatable behavior towards, in, or to a Mega TF palyer or server, your membership
in OSA will be revoked and your ChanServ prililedges provoked and you will be banned from
#osa as well.

I recently came across a guild named "Resistance"
R is also very known in the MegaTF community for this kind of behaviour. They are also
known for being inconsiderate and rude to players on MegaTF servers. Some in the MegaTF
community go further in their claims against R and are investigating MegaTF server and
webpage hacking by R members.
I think that the Teamfortress community has a responsibility to discipline and
disassociate ourselves from such people and such groups. They not only make themselves and
their clans look bad, they make our entire community look bad. I'd like to think that at
the heart of our community lies principles of honour, fair play, and sportsmanship--R
opposes this.
I request that the clans who have members involved with R take disciplinary action against
those members. In the case of clans like Zoo, Rev6, [<], and se who all have four or more members involved, I woould like to see these clans suspended from league play until their members have been disciplined, and an official apology by their clan leaders on behalf of their clan be posted on the primary MegaTF message board, Rage, Rant Rave
Nobody is asking you to like MegaTF. In fact, I'll come out and say that I don't like
MegaTF. However, this isn't just cause to give its users a hard time and make an ass of
myself. We have a right not to like MegaTF, but we don't have a right to abuse their
message boards and attack their servers with inappropriate behaviour, things that we would
never tolerate on our own servers and within our community.
I encourage all clans to visit this page and see if they have members involved. I
