SCOUT
Easy to kill, hard to catch...best bet with these guys is to
hit'em hard when they're close and block their paths with napalm
grenades. If they want to go, you toast em with the flamethrower
while strafing. Another Tactic
is to try and get the as close as possible, try running around
corners and stopping right around it turn around and wait for
them to come then blast a rocket in there face!
SNIPER
At long range, keep sidestepping and hammer the area around them
with incendiary rockets. Up close, use the flamethrower, or if
you sneak up behind, toss a grenade at their feet and watch 'em
splatter.
SOLDIER
Circle strafe with flamethrower...most soldiers forget that they
have any weapon but the rocket launcher so if you stay on the
move you can toast them. Try a well placed grenade and try to
force/lure them over it at the right time.
DEMOMAN
KEEP ON THE MOVE WHEN CLOSE, try to judge the positions of the
grenades they are lobbing about and avoid them,.... use the
rocket launcher at long range because they have no dangerous long
range weapons....
MEDIC
The most dangerous class for a pyro to meet up with: a good
medic's super nail gun is BAD news....try anything and everything
at your disposal, and DON'T forget your grenades...
HEAVY WEAPONS GUY
He's tough but dumb most of the time....circle strafe around him
at close range with the flamethrower and throw normal grenades at
his feet. Because he can't move while firing he is very
vulnerable. Also Try hiding behind a wall and keep jumping out
and fire a rocket at him, try this over and over, eventually the
fire will kill em
PYRO
If you are both high on armour and health, neither of you will
burn all that easily... use the shotgun (YES the SHOTGUN) while
circling about and use the normal grenades....once you've hit him
a bit, try the flamethrower and listen to see if he burns or
not...if he does, keep at it....
SPY
Be VERY aware of things that don't look right. If there is ANY
doubt test the suspicious player with one burst of your
flamethrower, if he burns a little, burn him alot, if the spy
dies, check the top of the screen to see if you just killed
someone...if you didn't get a frag, flame the "body"
get on top of the actual body so he cant get up :-) Then take out
your AXE and hack away! (NOTE on spies: always warn your
teammates that there is a spy running around, whether you've just
killed him or he got away)
ENGINEER
The engineer himself is no problem, he is weak and burns well
(watch out for a super-shotgun blast at close range however)...
the sentry gun he builds is a different story, try combined
grenade attacks as usually the engineer is near his gun. Use
napalm and normal grenades, napalm to keep the engineer occupied
(it'll damage the gun somewhat too) and normal grenades to try to
kill the gun....Use the blast radius of your rockets to hit the
sentry from the safety of a wall...
