Map Name: Maya (Temple of the Maya) Author: [WTF?]Dr_Bones & [WTF?]sHINMA
This map plays just like Dustbowl. The Blue team start in the Shrine. They must bring the flag forward and capture each command point in order to win.
Blue's Shrine
Too leave the Shrine exit via this doorway, don't forget to grab some grenades.
The doorway looking into the shrine. Watch out Red will be defending here. There is two corriders leading to the next area.
Command point One. Too get to it, Blue can either swim through the pool of water or climb up onto the roof tops. High up areas are the best places for Red (Defenders) to place their sentries.
Once CP1 is captured, Blue move on to the next section. Blue take a right after comming out of their spawn room.
After the gate opens charge into the next area.
There are three routes to the command point. One is the bridge. The second one is via the water fall.
The third one can only be opened by a demoman. It's easy to tell when this has just been opened as the ground shakes.
Command point Two

"There has been a terrible injustice done to the blue team and their ancestral home. The red team has come to loot all of their artifacts and sell them on the black market. Luckilly, the blue team has arrived just as the red team started to crate everything up!

PLAY INFORMATION:

This is a Dustbowl style map. The object is for the blue team to attack the red team and bring their flags to the capture points. This is done in sequential stages. The first takes blue, from their shrine, into the beginning of the Mayan city, Teotihuacan. The second is fought amidst a "fortification" of sorts, and the final stage is to capture the Temple of Quetzlcoatl by planting the blue flag in the observatory and unleashing his godly wrath of flame. The only saving grace for the red team is that blue has been given a mere 25 minutes to complete their mission.

SCORING:

Red Team - 5 points per minute Temple is held. Blue Team - 30 points for capturing the entrance to Teotihuacan. - 30 points for capturing the fortification. - 50 points for capturing the Temple of Quetzlcoatl.

Other Notes: Flags return after 60 seconds. Flag carriers move at 75%."

JMC Star Rating:
5 Stars

Maya - Amazing map like no other.

The new textures look great. Also the new sounds will make you think your in a tropical forest.

It takes a while to get used to the map, but once learned it's non-stop action.
