This map plays just like Dustbowl, except this time your in Japan. The Red team must bring the flag forward and capture each command point in order to win.
The Red team can use the river to get to the first capture point which is on the boat.
The second route to the boat leads past this building.
Rocket jumping onto the roof is the best way to target the Blue teams defenses. Sentries and Snipers.
Once the boat is captured you start at the gates of the area your team just captured.
The Blue team have 60 seconds to build up their defences. This is the first building the Red team will see when they past through the gate.
Proceed past the building and turn right. Watch out for Blue snipers in the battlements on the left.
Head under the arch to the Castle Gate Capture point 2. On the left is an underground route which needs to be det packed in order to use.
Place det pack here. Once det packed there will be two ways into the castle gate. As a wall on the caste gate will collapse and the tunnel will be opened. |
Going under the arch brings you out here. Bring the flag into the center of the castle gates.

Osaka - The architecture and layout on this map is amazing.
Unlike Dustbowl you cannot spam the gates in this map. This is a good feature as spam causes lag.
Some people say this map is too defensive, I have played this map over 50 times and I have found the map to be very well balanced. It all comes down to the skill of each player on your team. Working together the attacking team can bring down the defenses with ease.

The second route is through the valley.
It takes you under a bridge. It is possible to rocket jump up onto the bridge. Continue on straight past this bridge.
The valley route brings you out in the dry moat of the castle. There is steps that lead up out of the dry moat.

The Blue team (Defenders) must hold the castle for 25 minutes to win. The map cannot be extended.
