SECTION 1 ENTERING NZCC 1999

No clans will be considered for New Zeland Clan Clash 1999 unless the atleast follow these:

- The Leader UIN's and email address

- Homepage

- A list of players enrolled in that clan, no new recruits are allowed to play in NZCC 1999 once the quarters have started.

- Make sure you and your clan have read the rules before you sign up.

- Clans wishing to join must have at least 10 members by 3 weeks before the start of NZCC 1999

SECTION 2- MAKE UP OF NZCC 1999

2.1BASIC SET OUT

The New Zealand Clan Clash 1999 will be made up of 16 clans from inside and of course outside of New Zealand, it will be a 8 per side tournament. The way in which this tournament will run will these 16 clans will be split into 2 divisions which will be both randomly made up. Then over the course of the tournament the clans within the divisions will play every other clan in there division , until all clans have played all other clans in their division. And at this stage the top 4 from each division will move onto the winners league where then the top 8 clans will play sudden death matches in quarter finals this will work having the top qualifier (based on points) will play the lowest and the 4 middle qualifying clans will play off.

The Heats (this will be for both divisions)

  CLAN 1 CLAN 2 CLAN 3 CLAN 4 CLAN 5 CLAN 6 CLAN 7 CLAN 8

Week 8 Clan 7 Clan 6 Clan 5 By Clan 3 Clan 2 Clan 1 By

2. 2The Quarter Finals

The semi's will be played like this , the top 4 clans from both divisions and how the matches will be played will be ranked on points highest points scoring clan being qualifier 1 lowest being qualifier 8. Each match will be knock out matches. Here is how it basically works

Qualifier 1 plays Qualifier 8

Qualifier 2 plays Qualifier 7

Qualifier 3 plays Qualifier 6

Qualifier 4 plays Qualifier 5

If teams are tied then a playoff map will be played with another booking or on someone if possible in the quarters the map will be 2fort5r, this map will go until one clan gets 5 caps normal time applys the extra booking must occur in the same week. If time runs out or not done within the same week then the judgement will bring the for and against caps from the heats.

2. 3 Semi Finals

The semi's are just lead on from the quarters really here is how it relates. If a game is a tie the same rules apply from the quarters.

Match 1

Q1 vs Q8 winner PLAYS Q4 vs Q5 winner

Match 2

Q2 vs Q7 winner PLAYS Q3 vs Q6 winner

2. 4 FINALS

Well this is very simple to 2 winners from the semi finals play against each other to see who wins NZCC 1999.

2.5 GAME TIMES

All clans must play their matches at the latest of Sunday for that week unless, I am notified for a decent reason. Matches not played will either count as a forfeit against the team who did not turn up or a forfeit against both if both leaders could not agree on a time/day for that week . Please contact me if you are having this kind of trouble before the final day of the week and we will set a day up for the match. Also all bookings otherwise MUST be organised by Thursday evening, if they cannot I need to know why and you must still get a game organised or the responcible party will suffer penalties.

2.6 TEAM PLAY SETTINGS

In this tournament the settings will be Team play 1 this will mean full team damage and armor damage to enermies and of course your team also. My reasoning behind this will encourage realism and more team work with clans involved.

2.7 ABOUT ENTERING NZCC 1999

Upon a clan entering NZCC 1999 to be accepted they must be able to follow a few things if not face being kicked from the tournament or penalties later on in the tournament. The first thing is all clans must have a minumum of 10 members upon entering, special concideration is taken for clans having 9 or so members but they must have 10 by 3 weeks before the start of NZCC 1999 or will not be able to take part unless some reasoning is given. Throughout NZCC 1999 all clans must keep the membership at this level to keep turnout to games high, I have mentioned this below.

2.8 PLAYER RESTRICTIONS

* Anybody who is using non-standard TF player models will not be permitted to play (do not take any notice of the "warning" QW gives when someone enters a game). The only way to check effectively is with QWAdmin ... it will give a clear, non-standard or GLOW status on a player model, only those who pass with a clear rating are allowed to play a league match. NOTE : You may use Dox's pak and other similar weapons paks, these have nothing to do with this type of checking .. is here to stop ppl from using GLOW and other cheat player models. Btw a non-standard does not mean a person cheats, it is just an unrecognised model but is still not elegble for play just incase.

* No cross dressing, your top colour has to be the same as your bottom colour (being your team colour).

* Proxy use to be carefully watched and if any unfair use is come evident then problems will arise.

* No non-clan members are allowed to play, the only ppl that will be allowed to play are those who are on your clans list sheet on this site. If you are playing a clan and suspect subs or ringers, then check their clan listing here.

* At least one person per clan must run a log (use -condebug at start up) incase of allergations of abuse or cheating. This also includes demos if they apply to the situation.

* No member of any clan may play for more than one clan in this league . Choose who you are playing for before the league starts if you wish to play in it.

* At the time of sign up, the complete list of players that are playing for your clan must be submited, new recruits are allowed until quarters have started, remember the list on the NZCC 1999 web page must have them listed also.

* No chatting spam, bad language against the opposition to down grade them will not be allowed in any shape or form.

* Hacking, flooding, and any disruption of other clans will lead in instant removal from the tournament.

With the use of map checking you have to make sure that you have the correct versions of the map so that no problems are caused when trying to enter the server. As some of the public server maps do not work on some booking servers so please get this organised before games and practices to minimize problems. Also note the version 2fort5r.

4. 3 CERTAIN MAP BUGS

On maps sewer1, Bam 4 and Demoz there are some map bugs that can give unfair advantages to teams this will not be allowed to be done so if this happens and are caught will mean penalties against the people involved. If more specific info needed contact me.

5.0 MATCH PROTOCAL

5.1 Before the Match

* If your clan and another clan are in the draw to play that week then it is up to both leaders to sort out a time, day, rcon, password and maps bring played by Thursday evening at the latest (the event itself having to be played by the end of the week). Once this has been agreed on by both leaders or co leaders the agreements must the time, day and maps must be submited to me to make sure both sides are both agreed to the same conditions so that then penalties won't be given this needs to be done as soon as it has been agreed upon (within the time restraints). I will accept these details from leaders or their 2nd in command in there absense, clans not doing this can be penalised points for doing so. If you have trouble contacting either the leader or the co-leader of a clan you are about to play then contact me and I will see what I can do.

* It is requested that both leaders of the clans playing contact each other 15 minutes before game time to ensure they both have the correct rcon and password.

5.2 MATCH REQUIREMENTS

All clans must have atleast a team size of 5 playing the match, time outs and disconnections are ok as long as the person returns within 20 minutes. If a clan cannot do so they must forfeit the match. And if they do not they will have penalties put on them taken from there own points.

5.2 MATCH TIME

At match time the clans will join the game server and the match must start after 15 minutes, if it has not started then, then the game will begin otherwise sides are ready or not. If any server problems arise then please contact me or another offical so that something can be sorted out.

5.3 AFTER MATCH

* Results of the game must be sent to me within 48 hours after the match or then the game will count as a draw for both sides.

* Also if there are any disagreements after the match your complaint must be sent to a official straight after the match with all evidence and explaining the problem.

* If a rematch is need which will only be on a rare occasion then it must be redone with a new time limt etc using standard rules of NZCC 1999 matches.

6.0 GAME SCORING

6.1 THE SCORING

3 points per map win

2 points drawed map (each team)

1 points map played and lost

0 points forfeiting per map

7.0 MATCH OFFICALS

Before the beginning of NZCC 1999 a representive from each clan will be sent to me, the representive will be having to do some duties during the tournament like watching over games and reporting things to me or one of the offical judges, though for many games one of these offical judges will be online for the match.

7.1 CLAN REPRESENTIVE

Before the start of NZCC 1999 each clan will nominate a clan repsentive who will be in charge of keeping up with and relaying information changes in rules, events etc throughout the tournament back to there clan whom I will send info to this representive.

8.0 INTERNATION CLANS

8.1 WHEN OVERSEAS NATIONS PLAY EACH OTHER

During the tournament there is a good reason that a Australian clan players another clan from the same country if so then these two clans shall organise between themselves another local server to play on, if they cannot agree on a local one then they must then use the New Zealand Clan Clash servers.
