I have a story. I had just finished 2Fort on a server and Well started up.....When I came in, I autoteamed to red, and found that my team was outnumbered 4 to 1!! I heard a lot of mirvs outside, I walk out the door. BOOM! Demoman pipes cath me. I respawn and hurry out the door again. hoping he hasnt re-set his pipes. Unfortunately a SG mows me down. (I decided not to bother disgusieing.....it had been one of my newbie spy days....I was just checking things outside. Using the little "Death Cam" ciew (where it shows everything sideways) I saw 3 Lvl 3 SGs outside, and 2 demomen! I knew I couldnt get out that way, so I headed to my flag room.
Down into the underewater entrance I went. I prayed the enemy had opened our grate....they had. I swam up near the grate and took a deep breath.On the way through the pipes I had disguised myself as an enemy (Blue) engy, my usual disgusie for base-infiltration and flag capping. Everyone trusts an engy. When he runs towards you, you think he's gonna wack you with his wrench...but I wack them with something a little more sharp. Heh-heh-heh. But anyways, I took the water route from my own base to the little barrier between the bases, yyou know, the thing with the 2 parallel hallways?? Anyways, I made my way down to the other end, and jumped into the water that would lead me to a blind spot where the enemy snipers couldn't see me exit the water. My friends hadn't blown their grate yet, so I had to take the direct route into their base. (Note: the way to walk up to their front door unseen by snipers is to get out of the water as quick asyou can, and then back into the button that opens the doors as fast as you can. Since when does a sniper aim directly below him?
Anyways, I did that, and the door opened. I walked in, looking for any enemy SGs. Good. None by the front door. I walked into their ramp room and saw 1 LVL 3 SG up in the attic. I decided that I needed to eliminate it. I laug hed to ymself....apparently their entire team was made up of engys and demomen....engys and demomen who didnt expect a spy. They thought they had the battlefield covered....They didn't. I made my way to the sniper deck, started priming a grenade, as I headed towards the elevator, rode the elevator up, and then when it reached the top, without a second to lose, lobbed the grenade where I thought the Lvl 3 SG  was placed. *BAM!! SPLAT!!!* Apparentlythe engy ahd been tending to his SG as I threw the grenade....too bad for him, he was now splattered against the wall. I threw another grenade and obliterated the SG.
I picked up the grande bag, then I waited for it to come back again so I could have at least 2 regular grenades. I was waiting all the time for 12 enemies to come up and flush me out.....but I was in luck! The engy was so stupid he didn't even say "SPY IN OUR BASE!"
I filled myself up with grenades and took the elevator up to their flag room. THey  had no defenses. I called in for a demoman to blow the grate, and he did his job, and told me that the enemys were leaving their base...it was basically deserted.
I took the flag and an into the pipes. I had limited time. Suddnely my mom shouted "TIME FOR DINNER!" I decided to hide myself under their bridge, not underwater, but still under it. THe bridge in the flag room. I ate. WHen I came back 5 minutes later I expected myself to be dead, but miraculously I was still alive! I then took the pipe entrance out. I got to the double hallway place again and went through my pipes to my base and took a breath under our bridge (the one outside, not the one in the flag room.) Appparently the enemy engys and their SGs were still holding out.....I took a deep breath and went under again. I made my way into my cap point and CAPPED!! I repeated this 4 times and our team one...but I was the only one tkaing offensive action that really did anything...everytone else was being cut down bty the SGs!!
