Classes
The class you play totally affects the way you play. Particular classes should be played in particular ways in TFC and you really should bear this in mind when playing. This will lead to a more enjoyable game for you and your teammates (and hopefully a harder game for your opponants).

For example, if you are an engineer then your team will look at the make up of their team, see that you are an engy and assume that you are sorting out defence. If you are not then you are leaving your base vulnerable while you are running around merrily having a great time doing whatever you do, but not helping your team. If you are one of these people then go and play deathmatch as TFC is wasted on you.

Of course, some classes can perform many roles - a soldier is great on attack and defence as is a demoman. Just remember to play the role as it was meant to be played. If you do this then you will have much more fun and feel more of a team member than a lone mercenary.

To reflect the new models in the latest patch I have them pictured in addition to the old models, old models on the left and new models on the right. This gives you a good opportunity to check out the differences close up. Hope it's useful for you.

NB - Speed is calculated as an index. All speeds compare to the scouts - thus, a scout runs at 100 mythical units per second, hence the value 100. If a class runs half as fast, its speed would be 50, etc.
