The HWGuy. Play this and you are basically a tank with legs. You have very heavy armor and heavy weapons and grenades. However, you have a slow running speed, and while firing your assault cannon your speed drops to a crawl. In defence you are a walking sentry and often just as effective. The assault cannon will be your primary weapon. Though it takes a second to spin up, once firing it's power is awesome, even at relatively long range - close up it'll take out a light class almost instantaneously. You also get a couple of MIRVS to play with which can greatly reduce the health and armor of any attacking force and can be used as a temporary bridge or room blocker if you're defending a dropped flag or key.

However, you're not invulnerable. If you're firing your assault cannon in a vulnerable position, then you are a lovely target for snipers. Remember, a fully charged headshot will take you out in one shot - as you walk so slowly the odds are its taken you a while to get to where you are if you're in a position to be sniped so you'll have to start all over again.

This class is exceptionally powerful in defence and is a good class for newbies to play. However, you'll get a lot of abuse playing this class as it is seen as a newbie and lame class and it takes very little skill to be effective. Consider too that a couple of HWGuys firing can greatly increase the lag on a server so think about others when playing this. I suspect you may play this class a lot as a newbie but as you get more experianced you move on to more specialised classes.
