An oldie but a goodie. The hand grenade is often overlooked for flashier grenades but, in reality, it packs a hefty punch and has a large blast radius. This is a very effective grenade, carried by most classes. To get the most out of it though, after you prime it you should hold on to it for a couple of seconds. It explodes about 4 seconds after being primed, so if you chuck it stright away, whover you throw it at has a pretty good chance of legging it and avoiding any damage. However, if it explodes just after they see it, obviously they've got little chance of getting away.
This tactic is risky though as you can do yourself a lot of damage if you're careless but practise makes perfect. |
