Classing this as a weapon is kind of a catch-all and irrelevance. It is a weapon though if you manage a kill with it then you get to wear a smug smile for a few mins. If all else fails, whip out your crowbar and bash away. If your a sporting chap and about to take out a sniper with a grenade or whatever, you could always give them a chance and charge at them with a crowbar. Helps the feelgood factor. A pretty useless weapon, but very satisfying to get a kill from.
