Last updated: 5/27/99 1:20AM CST Well, as you know some of the lower Bronze clans don't show up half of the time to their matches, and i would like to see those clans removed from STA alltogether, but until then i will be forced to put up some type of prediction here. As you may see with the IGL predictions, he has a nice paragraph for each one. Well, i'm going to say this now, Bronze clans are hard to follow, and are very inconsistent in playing, unless you're among the leaders in Bronze, i.e. AoD, [FA], or veterans like PCW or SST. And for these reasons you prolly won't find long predictions for many of these clans towards the bottom of the rankings. One more thing, if you are a Bronze clan and you want some type of recap put up (short please), please email me at [email protected] with the recap....please also include the scores/winners/losers of your match so i can post those as well. Picks For Week 1 (2/25) for the New TFCNN!
[FA] vs VOID Well, what can i say about [FA], they have come a long way in the Bronze division. They had an impressive victory over AoD, who had a great run as the TC lasting 3 weeks, but fell 1 week short of making Title Week. [FA] is currently rolling past opponents, while VOID has been having some major recruiting problems, look for [FA] to beat VOID and charge into silver with a major confidence boost. Lud's pick: [FA] Well..this one was no dissapointment, as [FA] moves to the Silver Division with a blowout win over VOID. The score was something like 23-3 (the FA people i talked to didn't know exactly). Good Luck in Silver. AoD vs .L Looks as though we have a rematch between these two, after AoD took care of .L for a title defense a couple of weeks ago, look for AoD to rebound from the dissapointing loss to [FA] with a win over .L Lud's pick: AoD Well, it sure was a close match as the scores reflects...with AoD winning 1-0. FC vs H Both of these clans are showing newbies how to play. FC is on a 5 game winning streak and well, H, after starting STA with 4-8 record, have completely turned things around and have won 9 straight games boosting their record to 13-8. This will be a close match here and can go either way, but im gonna go with H in keeping the winning streak alive. Lud's pick: H ML vs SST Looks as though SST is back in the game, and has found a way to win, while ML just squeaked by DF last week. Now DF is no longer STA contender. I'm going to pick SST in a very close match. Lud's pick: SST This was a very close match indeed, though ML came away with the win 1-0. WP vs VII Well the WolfPack seems to be playing TF with a lot of inconsistency, i'll pick VII to win over WP this week. It might be a very close match though, that will depend on what WolfPack team shows up, the ones ready to play, or the ones who are preoccupied. Lud's pick: VII Wow, another close match this week and sure was a good one, or so it seemed, VII just squeaked by WP with a 1-0 win. Nice match guys. HHH vs Unknown Looks as though from last week HHH either knows 2tech4 really well, or SD just plain sucked. HHH to win over Unknown again folks. Lud's pick: HHH Who would have guessed this match would have been so tight! These two clans put up such a great fight and went to OT with a score of 0-0. The OT map was agreed upon as 2fort5r. OT only lasted 1 minute as Unknown pulled the flag out fast. Z vs CdG Well, Z didnt get to play last week due to those bronze lamers not showing up. CdG knows 2tech4 and will roll over Z this week. Lud's pick: CdG This one turned out to be a close match, but CdG still prevailing over Z 1-0. GoW vs GDC GDC was shutout by a SST last week, while GoW put the Newbie clan down 1-0, although it must have been quite a match if GoW only got 1 cap...im taking GoW this week over GDC. Lud's pick: GoW MF vs GA][ Kinda Sucks to face longtime silver clan MF, GA][ is going down again, the Macs will prevail. Lud's pick: MF No Big suprise here as MF takes care of GA][ final score: 7-1. SD vs nh Will nh decide to show up this week with enough players? Not likely, SD wins this one. Lud's pick: SD Another one that was no suprise to see, as nh couldnt field enough players, but they played hard SD said...SD wins it 4-0. >X< vs SH SH got the Cheap forfeit win last week, while their opponents this week got their practice in last week with a 3-0 win over ROCK....look for >X< to win again. Lud's pick: >X< This turns out to be a pretty good matchup after all with the Exiles coming away victorious by a score of 1-0. DLG vs IR This is going to be a Very Interesting matchup, then longtime silver clan DLG who won last week over the newbie to STA At 1-0, and IR who totally owned FFX last week 23-0, i will pick IR over DLG in a close one. Lud's pick: IR Boy was i totally wrong...DLG came to play last night...whooping up on IR... Final score was 10-0 DLG. BM vs R6 R6 hung tough last week in their first real match in STA, and only lost 1-0 to a tough GoW. i say R6 will win their first over BM this week. Lud's pick: R6 DP vs ROCK Well, both clans were shutout last week, DP by the tough Mac team and Rock by the Exiles.....look for DP to win over ROCK. Lud's pick: DP TU vs nV I still havent heard or seen anything from these two clans, prolly cuz they dont show up for matches.....so i choose not to do a predict...but ill say TU just in case one of these people show up. Lud's pick: TU TLM vs CoD CoD will win this is they decide to not forfeit this week, or if TLM decides to even participate. Lud's pick: CoD Forfeit win for CoD, looks as though i was right on. FFX vs Fx I was amazed last week by IR....Fx is my choice this week.... Lud's pick: Fx Sheesh another Forfeit....but Fx gets a win. UF vs TFC Like i said...i hope they actually show up this week...Both clans... Lud's pick: None DT vs BR New clans to bronze....i hope they turnout for their respective matches....i'll pick DT to win this one. Lud's pick: DT Word around the campfire is BR isnt even in STA....DT! FL vs TFM Some more first time Bronze Peeps........Gonna go with a shot in the dark and pick TFM. Lud's pick: TFM SbD vs NULL SILENT BUT DEADLY!! LOL ill take them since i like the name. Lud's pick: SbD Null gets a Forfeit win....this sux =[ |
