<Pitshark> How did the name "nightmar3" come up as the clan name?

<[n]salacious> Well, long ago me, Doomsday, and foggie were going to use nightmare as the name of a TF2 clan we were going to start when it came out. But it never did come out, so I used it for this TF clan's name.

<Pitshark> Why is there a "3" instead of an "e" in "nightmare?"

<[n]salacious> Heh, #nightmare was already registered on enterthegame so warmonger suggested nightmar3 and everyone
concured.

<Pitshark> Who is the current leader(s) of nightmar3?

<[n]salacious> Myself, Bewitched and Vapes started nightmar3, but the leadership roles have included many other people within the clan. Although I usually handle final decisions.

<Pitshark> Does anyone in nightmar3 have any out-of-the-ordinary jobs?

<[n]salacious> Well, Warmonger dropped out of high school and is making more than my parents right now as a computer
programmer. I think thats a job alot of people would like. Logic is starting up his own web design business right now with one of his friends, and Shi owns Armageddon Software, a company in California. But we are mostly a bunch of geeks in highschool.

<Pitshark> Like me.

<Pitshark> Is nightmar3 a east or west clan?

<[n]salacious> We are a west clan based out of British Columbia Canada, but we do have several great players from california. We do although have 1 east player in the clan.

<Pitshark> What are some disadvantages of being a predominately west clan?

<[n]salacious> Obviously, we ping like shit to the east and good to the west, but being all from one region means we live close
together. I know and met close friends and clan mates Warmonger, Aftermath and Vapes from online experiences.  However, it also has a disadvantage; being me turning down really good players who want in [n] because they ping 400 on our server :P

<Pitshark> Are you currently recruiting?

<[n]salacious> No, but people keep messaging me everyday asking anyways.

<Pitshark> Will [n] ever expand into TFC or TF2 in the future?

<[n]salacious> Me and some other nightmar3 members actually entered and won a TFC tournament at Canada's largest online
gaming tournament, Fragapolooza. But I dont want to start any TF2 things because the game will be crap and we have several linux users in the clan, and TF2 will never have a linux port.

<Pitshark> Recently, nightmar3 has been on an awesome win streak, climbing to the top in JLA2, STA Silver, and OSTF Division B.  What do you think contributed to this success of such a young clan?

<[n]salacious> Well, the only time we have NOT been on a winning streak was out first 5 games on canalzon, other than that
we have only 3 league losses in our 5 months as a Teamfortress clan. A lot of the sucess comes from 3 very good people who joined awhile back; Lobo, Shi and Glassjaw. They live together and play lanned, which makes our defence something to be
feared.

<Pitshark> Ok, one last question, does Synical cheat? =]

<[n]salacious> Only at solitare, he is one of the most skilled TF players there is and really doesnt need to cheat. We are lucky to have such a good player with a great attitude like him.

<Pitshark> Any last words?

<[n]salacious> I'd like to say the players who got us owning and made other people want to join us are CaptSpeed, Logic, Rogue, Vapes, Bewitched, MrNiceGuy, Warmonger and me. That was our all-star Bronze team :)
