That's what this is...overdue. I've been meaning to post something on here for well over a week now. Why's that? Well because! How you like that shit? My creative writing is rather lacking these days. So bear with me as I attempt to write something meaningful here. Ha like that'll happen. My mind has been camping out elsewhere these days. I just wish I knew where so I could go find it. If anyone has seen a lunatic's brain running rampid on the country side without a body let me know.

I was sitting here like two or three nights ago attempting to sleep, yea still can't do that quite right yet, but it is improving. Anyway...I was sitting there and I think I came up with a rather wicked idea for a TFC map. Yep you heard me right. I had a creative idea. Will wonders never cease around here? Hell no! Trust me I was amazed too. Of course actually doing something constructive with this idea is a whole nother story. I won't even begin to go there. Even if I wanted to right about now (which I actually do) I couldn't. You see I have one more full week of classes left after tomorrow and then a whole SHIT LOAD of semester projects to turn in that same week. And after that comes finals week. Yaaaa!!! Will the insanity ever stop? Fuck no! What's even more exciting is that I signed up for summer classes. So once I finish this semester off I start new classes again like five days later. Fun eh? Summer break...what's that? I have classes scheduled until August 10th and less then two weeks later I come back for the fall semester. Beat that! But what owns all hell is this. I am graduating in May of 2001!!!!! Wooha! Best of all I won't have to go home. If you know me...you'd know I don't like to go home. It's still up in there air as to what I am going to do during that two weeks I don't have school.

So what am I getting at you ask? Well simply put this. For the next few weeks I am taking a leave of absence from Z Factor. I am refusing to touch this site in any way shape or form. So if you want to see news here, unlike recently, you need to pester the rest of the crew. It's not like I've been putting a ton of time into it recently anyways but I wanted to make it 'offical'. I don't know when I will be returning to the scene. Eventually I will though and when I do the future of Z Factor will be decided. A certain *someone* has been pestering me for some time to do something more with this and expand a bit but I don't know what I want to do. I need to do something I guess with it. I refuse to be a dead site due to everyone ignoring it. If it's going to be dead it's going to be because I (we) said so. What does this mean to you guys? At this time nothing much. I just won't be around. I have some ideas for things to do but I need more help then I've been getting as of late. *HINT* *HINT* *NUDGE* *NUDGE* *FWAP* So until I return have fun and I'll see you all in a few weeks.

So someone has been bothering me for the past few days to update the webpage. I wonder who ever that could be? Not to name any names...*cough* Katie *cough*...but you better be happy now damn it. How have you all been? I have yet to be able to find just where the hell I misplaced my sanity. What's new you ask. Nothing much I say.

I wish I actually had something to report but of course I don't. Big surprise there I bet. Anyone get to play Snipe Hunt lately on a public server? I haven't since I haven't been looking at TFC games lately once again. I've been spending my time playing Quake 3 or Tribes. You see I am the Tribes Masta. I need to keep up my mad ass skills at that game. Actually I've just concluded that most of the Tribes players just plain out right suck. How else can one explain my 20+ kills a game even when I'm lagged? Hell one day over spring break I was all hyped I had 30 kills in 30 minutes. I've never been quite able to pull that off. This past week I had 30 kills in hardly 20 minutes and I don't think I'm *that* good. But who knows maybe I am. Nice tanget eh? I thought so too.

I have actually been working on a side project this week. I've been playing with the Quake 3 bots. I've managed to make three new bots so far. Actually I had them done earlier this week. I've spent what time I've been around my computer since then playing with their skins. I'm not doing anything super great but I got a little theme going with them so far. I'm using various skins from Quake 3 as the basis for my skins so far. I have bits and peices of four different skins done. I've been hopping around a little bit doing what ideas I had and moving onto the next skin before I finished the one I was on. I plan on going back and working on them again some more once I figure out the rest of what I want to do and how to do it. I'm getting pretty good at hacking other peoples' work apart and making my own out of it. But it's a good learning experience and I need that. I'm still learning this graphic shit but I think I've come a LONG way from my skins I worked on for QuakeWorld. Once I get them finished up I plan on putting the bots up here for you all to download and abuse. VorTeX and SCarton expressed an interest in doing a couple of bots also. Which I'll wait to see what they do and if they finish theirs in time I will include them in my set. Making the bots is rather easy. It's thinking up all the shit I want/need for the chat files that is a pain. I plan on having at least a set of five bots when I'm done. As I said the bots are basically easy if you understand it all. Setting up how a bot plays takes all of 5 to 10 minutes really. Of course tweaking it and making sure your bot isn't a retard takes a little more time depending on how well your first attempt at it was. Ah well it's getting towards that time of the night when I should start thinking about bed time. Bah!
