Rather then going to sleep like I should I'm here once again entertaining the masses. (can I call 5 readers a mass?) Actually I'm going to Katie's in 6 hours or so. Nice eh? I probably won't even see my family for a few days after I get back. Anyways that's not the point, unless you want it to be the point. If so tuff that's still not my point. Wheee! I have no clue what I'm doing. Is it apparent? I figured I would update the page before I left. I doubt I will touch it while I am gone. Hopefully someone else will at least post once or twice while I'm gone. Ok ok don't die laughing at me. I didn't think it was quite *that* funny at the time. Here's a bit of news to get your attenion. I started on a mod yesterday finally. I've been trying to find something that would really hold my interest from start to finish and I've been dying to do a mod. So I put 2 and 2 together and got 5. Of course I'm excellent at math. I really am. It's just that the more higher math you learn the stupider you get at the so called easy shit. So I bet your trying to skim over this bullshit I'm saying and looking for information on the mod. Well you won't find much. Hell even I don't know much and I'm making it. I have some very basic ideas in my head so I started in that direction. One needs to get the foundation built before they can build whatever greatness they are planning. So I figured I would think of some more specific ideas during the time I am home and see what comes up. Of course knowing me probably not much but you never know. I hope to have a decent beta version done before school starts next month. Though that doesn't always mean public beta but I'll definately need a handful of testers. Hopefully about that time Akula will be back and he can help out. Wouldn't that be different? Ok well I'm getting up to leave in like 5 hours. I still need to pack stuff and clean up before I go. For those of you who look here and not at The Collective you wouldn't know that he's changed the sites name AND has a playtest THIS Wednesday night. As in tomorrow in theory. So you can see his site under the new name, Delta Bravo. You all should once again participate at his playtest. He's running the same batch of maps as he did last time which included Cydonia. Of course yours truly, me, will be there. Like I have anything better to do this week. Ever see the Addams Family movie? You know that game they play at the end, wake the dead? Yea well point is I was playing that two days ago. I ran into Blasphemy on a public TF server by accident and a couple of hours later I walked into Akula on gamesnet. I was amazed too. Guess what? I started work on a new TFC map. It has no name or theme or even a gameplay idea yet (most likely will be CTF though) or hell even an idea yet. How the hell can I do that you ask? Well simple. I have a little section that I thought up in my head about a year ago and I never implemented it into a map. So I started to design the section and will think of a map to go with it. Contrary to popular belief this method does work if you are smart enough. Look at Techway and it's moderate success. I made that map under one premise, to have that train running underneath the two bases, and from there I built around that idea. So I'm hoping to pull some crazy ass shit out of my ass. Of couse it's been pretty slow going as of late. Been spending most of my time making up for lost hours of playing online games so far this break. VorTeX is our current reigning Tribes master. I aim to take that title away from him, if not entirly, then partially. *fwap* Yea now the gloves are off bitch! He's scared, just ask him. He knows he is old and has grown comfortable in his easy chair and he fears the up and coming talent that is Lord Bishop. I will prevail *insert evil laugh here* Now that I've wasted our web space to insult VorTeX I think it's time for me to go. Keep an eye on us though. I have two ideas I'm formulating in my head and they are big ones.

My.. how time flies when you're busy and your life changes and you're having fun at the same time..

How can someone like me disappear from the computer universe for a month and a half you ask? Well.. it goes like this. First, school's gotten harder so I've been having to work harder to keep up my level of doing everything half-assed... except for calculus which I'm devoting energies to consistently.. mainly because it has the power to keep me interested... On top of that, I've been getting busier in extracirriculars so I've been around after school a lot less.. I've also been busy with a school porject (I modeled the globe theatre in a 3d architecture program.. which took a WHOLE lot of time). Then there's the fact that I've been sick a lot more as well (flu and I are on first-name basis by now..). Then there's the most important devlopment of all... somewhere along the way I managed to hook up with Barbie, the sweetest, wackiest, most amazing, and most beautiful girl I know. She and I have been "going out" (I hate defining relationships on other people's terms..) for less than a month here... but I'm all happy because this is my first real girlfriend and it was something I was almost certain wasn't going to happen ever in my life if anyone had asked me last time I updated on this page :)

What my plans are I haven't the foggiest.. the way life's been lately.. I'm just gonna play it by ear and see where it leads me. I'll try my darnedest to get stuff done but no promises.. cuz I've sucked at keeping those lately. Anyhow, to recap: I've been busy, got a girlfriend, school's a bitch, no promises on any projects... Got that? Good.

I thought I'd drop the post up here really quick like. For the rest of the day you can play Dethwell at 193.82.159.28 and enjoy all kinds of frag fest fun. I've been playing for the last over hour and it's been a blast. I would have posted this sooner but I just found out yesterday about it and I didn't want to overstep my invintation to play and say anyone could come. Keep in mind that the server is in the UK but damn I tell you it's a NICE serve. I've been playing with a solid 140 ping today. Even VorTeX who can't get a ping to save his life just about anywhere was pinging well. So well he was even taking me on sniping. I'll blame it on my lack of playing games online in general and TFC in particular in the past months. Though that's about all I've done since yesterday afternoon. Lets see...eat, play, repeat. So yea also keep in mind that they said it would be up for some more hours but it's like 10 pm there already so hurry up and check it out already. Times a wasting. In other news I had an idea for a map. So what you say? I say it is a BIG deal. I haven't had a solid idea for anything in ever. Of course the big problem now is that it's a very early idea and I could go about 10 different ways with it. So I have to narrow down my thinking some. You can't design a CTF map and then at the last minute decide to make it command points. So you see I have to pick at the very least the general gameplay I'm shooting for. So maybe I'll have a screenshot or two of something new up befor I go 'home' for christmas. I am staying here at school for most of break but I am going 'home' for a little over a week to spend christmas and new years with my honey bunny Katie. (I call her that cause I know it'll make her happy) Note that when I say 'home' I really mean her house. I don't ever stay at my supposed real home but I'm sure a lot of you know that by now. Ok so there is where I jet. I gave you the news now go play. I need to go round me up something consumable before I go back and play. I sorta rolled out of bed and started playing. Hey what can I say? I'm dedicated to my 'work'.

Am I on? I'm on? Ok here I go! So I've managed to make it to the end of finals week. So this should mean something new from me shortly. What you ask? Fuck if I know. I know it means that I'll get to play some online games again! That is a good thing. Between having no time and my network being fubar'd yet again I haven't played in months. So far today I've managed to get some TF in and some Tribes. I'll probably go find a server playing some of our maps on TFC at some point tonight. Oh and I need to get some Action HL in too as I haven't played that since longer than I can even recall. Check this one out folks. SCarton did something! I would have it to post tonight but it needs a little fixed up first and then I will post it. Man I REALLY wish I had something of worth to post. I reinstalled windows today on my computer. It was being gay. Exciting no? I didn't think so either. Man I'm so fried tonight. And no it's not illegally induced. Just feeling a little crispy from the past month and a half of nonstop BS from school. My brain is dead...I can't think of anything useful to say so I will say nothing more.

So I've been feeling around for people as of late to help us in our never ending crusade to bring you what is cool, at least in our ever so humble opinion. Which of course if you disagree with our opinion you can choose to ignore us or go fuck a 'tree rat' as one Akula once said. (the tree rat part and not the sexual deed) Anyways I have some good news! Yea you heard me right N-E-W-S! By the looks of things I should have two new people joining up sometime around the new year. My sources have information on unconfirmed bargining agreements going on between Lord Bishop and said parties which will remain anonymous at this time. What does this mean to you the dedicated reader? (do we even have any of them?) It means you will see more new content on here for your reading delight. The first planned project from new comer A is going to be something totally unique to what we have been doing around here. New and different content is *always* a plus. I'm actually rather excited about the ideas as he approached me with the idea and after some pondering I decided it was quite interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can produce for us. Possible new comer B is possibly doing something even more radical and involved. This is shit that I too will hopefully be involved in it's developement as it's quite a killer concept. There are no immediate plans for them to join us just yet but I will continue to discuss things with them and slip them in here when you least expect it. Just remember, time is not our friend during the holiday season as no one ever has enough. Of course after my last final on Friday I will have more time then I know what to do with myself for most of break. So that's going to translate into *SOMETHING* new for us if it's the last thing I ever do. SCarton is also in the same boat so he too will be producing something fun. That too I'm involved in right now and currently learning the technology with SCarton as to enlighten both of us on the subject matter. Also it's nice as we can teach each other stuff faster then we can learn it by trying to figure it out on our own. So hopefully his first related project of at least two will be done (I'm hoping/guessing) sometime next week. Also VorTeX is done with school Friday for a couple weeks also. I might have mentioned this before but my mind is getting old and weak. So hopefully that will translate into something new for him too. What I'm saying is this? Expect what looks to be a ton of new shit coming out around the new year. If I can continue to find a few new people in the next couple of weeks then we really should have a bunch of new shit coming out. Here's hoping!

WOO!! I made it through the last week of school. Though I have two hard finals first thing Monday and actually work due for two different classes at the end of the week. That's not cool but such is life I guess. At least I don't have to go to class every day. That's always a bonus. Plus after this week is over I'll actually have this thing called time on my hands, like 100% for sure. I had the first week of break set aside for something VERY specific but it seems I'm going to get raped on that hope and I'll have all that week to do god knows what now. Though I've been formulating an idea the past two days or so. I got it in my head of something new I want to do and I think I'm going to go with it. It's going to relate to something a little old school as far as video games are concerned but I think it will be a VERY good learning tool for me and that's what counts the most. So I hope to have that finished enough to showcase over christmas break. Plus I'll work on a few other random things that I have been trying to off and on, without too much success I might add. So hopefully at least I will have something new to show all of you soon. Man I want to play some TF so fucking bad, yet I can't. I just updated Gamespy again and my lowest ping was a 545. This is ridiculous I tell you! I am on a fucking network and I could at least fucking play if I was at home on my fucking 56k. Pretty sad isn't it? I mean I get damn good pings at home, especially considering it's a modem. Here I can't even play. That's really starting to burn me up. I'm starting to really suck at this news updating shit. I don't have anything of worth to say. Though if we were actually being active I'd probably have *something* to report but alas just more of the same. Here's to hoping we get moving again once the new year comes. That is if we are all still alive.

I figured I would take this one opportunity I'll probably have all week (at least until Thursday night) to update the page. Making twice in not so long. I have more papers then I care to think about that I have to have written for my Writing about Literature class. Last week of classes and all! Gotta bend you over and *uNF* you one last time. Of course there is finals week but hell for me that's all fun and games. See I've learned the key to tests. Don't get stressed out about them! People worry so much and try so hard and end up doing bad. I come along stroll on through and get a grade much better then them. Of course I do study some (at least for *some* classes) but hell I figure if after an entire semester if I don't know the shit then I deserve to fail the final. Anyways I got some ideas for stuff to do with Z Factor but I need time to develop them more. Plus doing them of course is going to take time in itself. Hopefully I can figure out some ways to keep more new content on here more constantly. We had that huge flurry of shit with Dethwell and then Cydonia and then it just died! Of course that is to be expected with the combination of time it takes to develop a map and in coordination with Christmas right around the corner. As I keep saying...such is life. Now for some random bits of my opinions. When it comes to kick ass rants. The Hal is the man! And anyone want to take me to Beatdown 2000? I'd love to go if only it wasn't for the fact I'm on the wrong side of the US for it. Of course if I had this thing called money I could like fly there. Though being a college student, and a poor college student at that, I can't travel home half the time let alone the California. Well until a plane comes crashing down on my apartment, that's my story and I'm sticking to it still.

BOO!! Scared you I bet didn't you? After a good two weeks of absolutely not updating the webpage I reappear! Happy aren't you? I figured you would be. Anyways what is going on with us you wonder? Well we are in the middle of a HUGE dry spell. But don't fret, we haven't given up, we are just busy as hell. After not seeing VorTeX more then once in probably almost two weeks I've seen him at least a little bit every day this week. As for Akula. VorTeX said he saw him the day after Thanksgiving but I haven't seen him period forever it seems. So what's the point you ask? NONE! WOO! How you like them there apples? Personally I have two more weeks of classes and I'm done for the semester. Of course I still have a TON of shit to do in that time period but that's been the story of my life for weeks now. Even more exciting then all that is VorTeX is coming to visit me the last day of finals week!! Yea that's right...it is fucking exciting and that's that. Since I'll actually have his undivided attention for a good week we might sit down and work on a surprise project of some sort or another. Or we could just LAN the hell out of every game we got for a week. Either way it's going to be fun as hell. As for stuff you guys *might* be interested in. I have worked on bits of three different projects now that I plan to put on here. Only one is map related. But I don't know when they will be finished. Tonight is my screw off night. Which doesn't mean I won't do anything related to Z Factor. Actually most likely I will do some things for awhile tonight. Of course if I do a lot of school work this weekend I will have more free time to work on stuff before finals week. Then again I doubt with as much shit as I have to do I won't have much free time to do shit. Life sucks some days? Hopefully next semester will be better. Then again knowing my luck it won't. Ah well small update but if I have some good shit to say later or tomorrow I will.
