"Infiltrate the sealed chambers of an alien cybercrypt. Wrest an ancient technological artifact from it's robot guarded creche." ~Richard Dale Carson

Order & Chaos starts off with a quick adrenaline rush. Perched atop a small building of sorts you must decide whether to make a leap to the floating platform and battle the brains and gunner on the adjacent building, or jump to the ground and take your chances with the unknown.

It's choices like these which will confront you every step of the way. And to go along with these choices you will also experience a very original level layout. It's this unusual build that takes this somewhat smallish level and makes it a memorable, fun map.

Richard has also figured out how to use the often unused "brains" opponent. By placing him in small confined spaces, and using more than one, he gives you a sweaty palm combat experience. By far the best use of the brains I have ever seen.

Like to break things and blow stuff up? Plenty of opportunity here. Rich has designed this level with plenty of glass to shatter, in fact you will have to in order to complete your objective.

A fine level certainly capable of filling that quick Quake2 fix.

Smash lotsa stuff, cool brains combat.
A bit brief, leaves you wanting more.
A smallish, stylish level with an interesting imaginative build.

Gunner with the advantage, look out below
An example of the imaginative build found in Order & Chaos.
Stonehenge? Nope, but still just as mysterious.
