  • Watch and Interact with Quake in 360 degrees!

Tired of seeing Quake in the normal first person view? Ever wondered what it'd be like for the Quake guy to turn his head while shooting monsters? Well, here's something that will change it up for you. Apparently, someone has uploaded a video where you can watch Quake being played in a 360 degree view!

Personally, I can't watch more than 10 seconds of it without needing to throw up. If this is the case for you as well, you might be more interested in interacting with the video instead. This sets the video up so that you can watch it while you click on the little directional control in the top left corner as it lets you seemingly turn the quake guys head up, down, to the side or even completely around! It's a cool little trick, but you have to click the link below to check it out.

You can watch the video below or click here to actually interact with the video!

Thanks to Shambler234 for posting about this!

i watched some other videos of the 360 cam in action on youtube
but in all actuality, not to derail the subject, if you watch a quake demo
using Qrack you can press left mouse button and freelook around 360 degrees
and see all the action going on around the player who recorded the demo

FTE has several projections, which enables fov 360 without wanting to throw up. fov 170 is very playable. la blinky

its protected by a ruleset though. you have to set ruleset none and mess with the projection cvars.

search for he commands using /apropos project
never argue with an idiot. they'll bring you back to their level and then beat you with experience.
