Romero and Carmack are working together on a new FPS

It has just been revealed via a star wars flavored Youtube video that John Romero and Adrian Carmack (did I get anyone with the title?) will be working together on an upcoming first person shooter. It's being teased that they will be revealing the game on April 25th, which is just a few days away.

Not much else is known at this time, except that it is being developed by Night Work Games in Ireland. You can go to the studios website and sign up for the newsletter if you'd like the information as it's released.

Yes, everybody needs money to survive.
And Romero seems to be running out of it. So he tries again....

... hopefully he will not fail this time.


Dont expect a Quake game though. That will for sure not be the case.
Keep your expectations low, so you will not fall too deep.

In all seriousness though, this is really cool. I liked Carmack's art in Doom and Quake, and so the two working together again could be something really cool.
