QUAKEONE SERVER UPDATE/REBOOT - 4/21/2010 at 11:59PM CST

The hardware node in which the QuakeOne web server is hosted at will be undergoing server software updates on 4/21/2010 at 11:59PM CST. The server's virtualization software and kernel will be updated which will require the server to be rebooted. Because of the reboot, the web site and DNS will be unavailable for about 30-40 minutes starting at 11:59PM CST on 4/21/2010.

We apologize for any inconvience this may bring but in the long run will provide for a secure and safe web server!

Yes it's done. It was all server-related updates, had nothing to do with the web site itself.

So this update won't get rid of the annoying spam-bot that gets through and posts on news articles every once in a while?

They aren't bots. They are human spammers from poor countries and get paid something like a penny per spam, which in some countries can be a decent wage.
