Trying to load "quake101" texture file with wc3.3. Yes, I have the quake adapter. Quake 101 is in worldcraft/textures. When I start worldcraft I'm seeing this:

I had this problem to... I think! I simply used a tool called texmex to open the .wad file and then saved it to .hlwad manually and then moved it into the textures directory.

File > Save Copy > Save to WAD3 | Then in the filename box type "quake101.hlwad" | If you do not put it in quotes it will be a .hlwad with the regular .wad extension It just the way it does it!!!

At WC startup I ended up disabling auto .wad conversion.
Name's damage_inc, and killing is my business. Don't worry though, it's nothing personal! Oh wait... maybe it is

In case you didn't do this: REMOVE the quake101.wad from the texture directory, so there's nothing to convert at startup! Since you have done it manually. Hope that is "it", good luck.

Still not working for some reason. I've noticed that when I decide to open the file again from tex mex it has a lock on it (strange) i noticed too that i can't actually see it in the textures directory. its only visable when i try to open again from tex mex. Someone else had this problem in a forum I found earlier but can't find the original post now!

Simple...use radiant instead. That always fixes worldcraft problems.
