  • Quake on win or Mac

So I know there are many posts on this topic, but I guess my main question is should I go windows or Mac based? I have a spare Mac that I could partition and install windows on. Seems to me like there are more resources for windows based quake playing vs the mac which is just freeware and limited to level 1. So I guess win is the way to go? Has anyone used a Mac and partitioned it with win as well to do this? I thought I remember that I had the capability to do this. Don't feel like spending money on a laptop just for the game. Hmmm.
    Suggestions? Thanks!
I do miss this game! It was a favorite in the dorms back at tcu in the late 90s. Lol! I'm such a kid and refuse to grow up. Well At least while I'm at home away from the rigors of the car business.

Thanks for the update. My stupidity is very apparent as I forgot that a Mac has the tool to install Win7 with bootcamp. I just need to get a copy of Win7 off the net and I should be ready to relive the good old days of quake 1!
