How to turn off compass in DarkPlaces?

I was playing a map with quake injector and I jumped from an enemy appearing out of fucking nowhere, and when I looked back at the screen I accidentally brought up chat. I hit escape to bring it down but I looked again and saw a compass now on my screen, at the top. I googled a bit and found no results for my problem, and I also looked around in the darkplaces readme to see about the console command, but it mentioned no compasses. Same with autoexec for SMC. How do I disable the compass?

I don't see a file named that anywhere in Quake HD.

I guess it is in one of the .pk3 files.



You have to edit your config:

...
Settings available through autoexec.cfg in readme inside
...
bind c compass, bind r compass // toggle compass
...
