  • Need help with RT lighting glitches.

a couple of years ago on my old GTX550ti system all was well until Nvidia stuffed up DP with a driver update after they so-called fixed this RT lights have never been right. I assumed this was only with 500 series drivers until I upgraded my rig to a system with a GTX760 and the lights are still buggered up. it is the last major glitch hampering my quaking experience I am including 3 example images of the glitching of the RT lights. if anyone has a solution to this issue please help me?

maybe its related to a slider..

I'm not mocking you, isn't there some sort of 0 to 1 console variable involved.

Take some realtime lights screenshots @ DM3 or Start? E1M1? I'll try and duplicate/replicate on my AMD hardware

I was only able to replicate one instance of RT Light glitching.

I have this same issue on my setup as well. I have a gtx 670. I haven't been able to fix it myself but in the console you can experiment with the cvars for rt, etc. type apropos realtime or apropos shadow and look through those cvars. If you want a list to reference later just type condump cvars and retrieve the file for later examination. Open it with any notepad, etc. In windows 64bit you'll find it in Users\YourUserName\SavedGames\darkplaces. If you figure it out let me know but I haven't had any luck and its really a small thing that i rarely notice anyway so like many things I just ignore it.
