Hi quakers! Does anybody still have this awesome faces made in Photoshop, which are mentioned in this thread?

The smiling power up face must be quad, right? And the blue eyed one is ring? Crazy creepy. Too bad there's no engine support for the suit... you could have Ranger with a respirator.

Client Side QC in DP or FTE makes this possible.

I recently made a new BLUE insulated armor in my mod. I just tinted the existing hud image to blue, and made as a new file in the gfx directory. Some new ssqc for the new armor of course , as its insulated armor it offers greater protection against thunderbolt hits. From there just a matter of coding the csqc to display the new armor image when picked up...not too bad.

With faces it can be trickier as the eng reinforces the default pain faces during the pain frames, but with the suit, it might be only temporary the pain face is displayed , then the biosuit type face would appear in between, so may not look bad, unless of course you wanna make all new pain faces with the suit. Then you would have to code them in like I said above. Lot of work, but possible without an eng modification.
