When I run GLProquake this is what happens, and I really would like to get it working. Please ignore the crappy quality of the pics, they are cheap JPEG converts; but still, you can see the problem. Any help is much appreciated

WTF happened to my post? Did I post in the wrong thread?
Anyways, try fooling around with the FoV settings. Try fov 90, it shouldan't have that effect. Then since you probally dont like fov 90, fool around with the setting until you see one that works alright that you're comfortable with.e|------------------------0---------------

thanks boys, the FOV did it. I was on 110, and once I switched it to 90 the problem went away; but the strange thing is that I could then switch back to 110 and the problem still wouldn't be there. So i had glPro running at 1600x1200x32, and it was playable--around 50 fps. not bad for onboard video eeh. I still like my win Proquake at 320x240 more though; the extra graphics are neat, but it just distracts you from the target: your neighbors head. I'll use GLpro on rune coop because the play isn't that serious and the levels look amazing--oh yeah, and b/c on 320x240 on the Entranceway i have to get right up to the signs to read what they say ehhehehe

Yeah, that ProQuake limit of 103 +/- is a little annoying. I wonder if that was an intentional "feature" of ProQuake or an accident. I personally think it was probably an intentional feature, I bet the ProQuake author disliked the use of high FOVs just like he didn't like transparent water.Quakeone.com - Being exactly one-half good and one-half evil has advantages. I just use 90 because it's the default in all games (or near equivilant) and I probally can't change it in all games.e|------------------------0---------------
