    Is it possible to make a quick grenade bind for single player quake? To my understanding the ones here are only for multiplayer games. I tried the one under the guides section here but it didn't work. Also, will it make it switch back to the weapon I am currently using no matter which one it is?

    Yeah. With the ProQuake Launcher, I didn't make the quick grenade alias work in single player to keep things streamlined (Enhanced GLQuake doesn't have the bestweapon command that is ideal for a quick grenade alias and most people use impulse 10 and impulse 12 to switch weapons in single player anyway).

    It will not switch back to the weapon you were using, but it is very close.

    Most people use impulse 10 (next weapon) and impulse 12 (previous weapon) to switch weapons in single player -- like BIND "K" "IMPULSE 10".

    Unless you are a speed runner, I personally don't see the point of a quick grenade bind in single player -- in multiplayer there is no forgiveness for mistakes and healthboxes are everywhere -- single player doesn't have health boxes everywhere that respawn in 30 secs and if you damage yourself with a grenade by being hasty then odds are you might not be able to finish the map.

    ... works with any engine and it doesn't matter if you are playing single player or multiplayer. You would manually open your c:\quake\id1\autoexec.cfg and paste the 3 lines of commands into it.
