  • mouse acceleration speed

    Hi all,

I have a problem. I just got back into Q1 so forgot all commands.

I use Fuhquake, and my problem is that my mouse speed accelerates.

This means that if i turn my mouse quick, i turn more rounds then when i turn him slow. Some1 know's how to put this off ?

    Thanx

Use -dinput in the command line or with the FuhQuake starter.

So with -dinput in your Quake command line it means Quake will bypass Windows acceleration settings and get input directally from the mouse?

Yeah, but the real reason I use -dinput it is that Windows overlays some sort of screen aspect ratio correction on the mouse based on your resolution (640 x 480 = 4:3, for example).

This means that without dinput, diagonal isn't quite diagonal.

With direct input on, Quake gets the pure input that isn't contaminated by Windows settings and adjustments.
