  • Mouse4 in Proquake without -dinput?

    I'm using a Logitech Dual Optical with Mouseware and I think it's impossible. Anyone found a way around this?

    I'd use -dinput, but it's really choppy and sometimes unresponsive in Quake. If anyone knows a solution for that I'd be interested as well.

    use the option "keystroke" in ur mouseware driver to assign a keyboard key to any of ur mouse buttons.. once u've done that u should be able to use any extra buttons on ur mouse in quake by binding stuff to the keyboard keys u have assinged to ur mouse in the mousewaredriver..

    see the picture below for an example


    if u plan on using any keypad keys in qrack make sure to set "cl_keypad 0" in qrack..

      Wow, that worked. It's a bit puzzling to me exactly WHY that works, but thanks a lot!
