              set r_wateralpha_radius to a higher value.. like 768

                why bother using that stuff anyways, unless you enjoy sacrificing half of your frames per second for eye candy

                      R_wateralpha_radius basically means at further distance from the player to the watersurface, the wateralpha increases. Closer you are to the water the more clear it becomes. I have changed this in future versions only to compare to the Z origin not x/y since water verts are clumped to gether like jigsaw puzzle pieces in quake. So for example if you're playing "toilet4" map and look down at the water, with r_wateralpha_radius 1024, the surface is solid, but as u fall to megahealth, the water becomes more transparent as u get closer, which looks kinda cool!
