weird grafic with qrack 1.83 + "work around"

  • weird grafic with qrack 1.83 + "work around"

    I test the beergoogles-variable (starting qrack mit -bpp 32 parameter) and i can't change the screenresolution from 640x480 to 800x600 or whathever. And i see a little bit of this snow(?) effect:
    (i don't know the right word in english)

    Ok, quit qrack and restart w/o parameters and i see the game again in 32bpp + a blue box bottom left + "snow"


    I delete config.cfg in ID1 and start qrack. Snow again, but


    After deleting config.cfg in qrack-directory all change back to normal.

          What type of gfx card do you have?
          It looks like r_blooms doesnt like your drivers...

          Using your cfg I dont get that problem, using my nVidia 6600gt.

            Hercules 3d Prophet 8500 with 128MB (ATI)
            Driver is up2date

            BTW, i compared (line by line ) the "defect" cfg with the new created config.
            Differences:
            ambient_level "0"
            gl_detail "1"
            r_skyscroll "1"
            gl_triplebuffer "1"
            --> vid_bpp "16"

            ??16?? change to "32" and it works :party:
            I'm relative sure that i have NOT activated any 16Bit option.
