Need New Engine for Hexen2

Hey guys, I know Hexen 2 runs the same engine as quake, blah blah.

But Im curious if there is any "alternative" engines that can make the sextastic game prettier?

I tried the FTE Engine but that doesnt work, so anyone got any suggestions?

btw im running the demo... dont have cash or cant find the full version of hexen on torrentz

Not true!

From 'Features' page: OpenGL enhancements including multitexturing, glow effects, working brightness control, text and hud size changing on the fly, translucent console background, console background stretching, colored lights and support for external lit files, fixes for texture cache and model mesh cache mismatches.

Anyway, for 'anything else', you can visit Hammer of Thyrion links page too.
All other Hexen II projects (most of them obsolete or inactive now) are listed there...

Uhexen is bit like Tyrquake and auqiRe's glquake
I like this engine as much as UQE

There is UnofficialQakeEngine

it's the successor of Newhexen, I think that there is also a UQE-quake-engine in devellopment
has some grafical enchancements too: bloom effect dot3 bumpmapping

and there is still Newhexen avilable:

Sorry i forgot to mention that UQE doesnt work with my version of hexen2 demo also..

so im fucked anyway?
