    hi, i need help on how to make the fog look correctly and not to "near" the player, and which cvars control it, densitity, distance, etc

    try adjusting gl_fog_density like 0.153...

      i did, any values above dont do anything, and below, just dissapears
      or a way to make the distance a little farther maybe? otherwise the fog is on but too "close" and cant see beyond a certain distance, i have a sis3 graphics adapter running on a vista home edition, 1.6ghz dual-core and 1gb ram
      my quake looks sweet
      just wondering how to make an extra eye-candy work

      btw, is there a way to make it work on xbox?
      quakex doesnt support it
